In my graduation project “Perchei Lilach” (Lilac Flowers) I focused on the melting pot that is Israel and what identity means in this country. My grandmother who immigrated to Israel from Tunisia, belonged to the “Hashomer Hatzair” nest where she was educated about the values of homeland love and contribution to the country. She joined the IDF and became the first female soldier from Migdal Haemek. In my military service in the "Education and Youth Corps" I taught  geography and local natural history. I created a ‘Ready to Wear’ collection for all genders combining the "Hadegem HaPashut" motifs (meaning the simple model). As well as IDF uniforms and Jewish clothing in the countries of my grandparents - Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq. The floral patterns I created are the flowers that grow in Israel, inspired by the illustrations of  Ruth Koppel in a botany book from 1949. These books assisted in the formation of Israeli identity, as it was used in schools to teach about Israeli nature. I also combined crochet tablecloths, as a symbolic item found in my grandparents' home as an example of the mixture of cultures that is Israel.
